Three-Ingredient Vodka Cocktails
Do you know what the #1 selling spirit is in the United States? We’ll give you a hint – it’s not whiskey! Believe it or not, vodka is the top-seller, outperforming the entire whiskey and bourbon industry. We can see why! Vodka is the most versatile and popular ingredient when it comes to making cocktails. While you may have some bad memories of vodka shots at the bar, you can actually make some pretty tasty drinks with vodka and other simple ingredients. That’s why we chose vodka as the next star of our three-ingredient cocktail series!
In this week’s episode of Be Your Own Bartender, we made two great and easy three-ingredient cocktails. These cocktails were made using plain vodka, but you can easily spice up these recipes with your favorite flavor of vodka! Make sure to stop by and see us in Lansing, KS to grab all of your vodka cocktail essentials.
Three-Ingredient Vodka Cocktails
Ginger Lemonade
Similar to a Moscow Mule (an episode that we will do later!), a Ginger Lemonade is a fantastic mixture of ginger beer and vodka. If you have a bottle of lemon vodka, like Deep Eddy Lemon or 36o Sorrento Lemon, then this is the time to use it!
- Vodka – 1 oz
- Lemonade – 1/2 cocktail glass
- Ginger Beer – 1/2 cocktail glass
Vodka Sour
Much like the whiskey sour, a vodka sour is a great way to add Vitamin C to your diet! Again, a lemon vodka would go great with this cocktail. You might also try a cherry-flavored vodka to create a taste similar to a cherry limeade!
- Vodka – 1 oz
- Lemon Juice – 1 oz
- Simple Syrup – 1 oz
