Three-Ingredient Tequila Cocktails

Three-Ingredient Tequila Cocktails

First, we did whiskey. Then, vodka. Now, we give tequila the three-ingredient cocktail treatment! If you’re looking for some easy-to-make cocktails, try out these three different three-ingredient tequila cocktails!

We made three great tequila cocktails on this week’s episode of Be Your Own Bartender: a classic margarita, a tequila sunrise, and a tequila old-fashioned. Margaritas are one of the most popular cocktails in North America! The tequila sunrise is a fantastic morning-time cocktail that was invented back in the 1930s. And a tequila old-fashioned is a spin on the world’s most famous bourbon cocktails. These drinks can all be made with tequila, either silver or gold. You could also take it up a notch and use Mezcal (learn more about the difference between tequila Mezcal here), which is an “oven-cooked” agave spirit.

Tequila Sunrise

  • Tequila – 1.5 oz.
  • Orange Juice – 3/4 c.

  • Simple Syrup – 1/2 oz.
  • Bitters – 2 dashes
